A question for Anthony Watts, but no help yet in getting it answered

I'd like to add Chico-based climate inactivist Anthony Watts's academic background to his SourceWatch and Wikipedia pages, but Watts was unwilling to provide this information. So I left a comment over at Russ Steele's blog, noting that his blog displayed Watts's "World Climate Widget" and asking if he could help get this information; but my comment was deemed off topic and deleted, and Russ said in email that he does not know and is not willing to help find out.

So, if anyone knows when and where Anthony Watts got his academic training in climate science and/or meteorology, could you please share this information?

I always found it ironic this guy's name was "watts," given his perspective on global warming.

Yow - Russ Steele's lack of interest in professional qualifications is awfully selective. In Aug. 2007 he was asking, "How did Dr Kane and Alan Stahler become air quality experts? What is their professional training in this field and their air quality monitoring qualifications?"

Tell you what, Russ; I'll find out about Alan if you'll find out about Anthony.

Let me know.

FYI, I emailed Russ Steele yesterday morning alerting him to this "let's investigate" offer; haven't gotten a response yet.

Since it's possible that for some reason my email to Russ didn't reach him, I've left a comment over on his blog alerting him to the proposal.

Alas, Russ replies with a "NO!", even to this generous offer.
